About TradeStability
TradeStability is a tariff exposure calculator and Canadian supplier sourcing tool for Canadian businesses buying goods from abroad.
You enter what you spend and where you buy from. The free assessment estimates your landed cost from each origin country against sourcing the same goods domestically, scores how concentrated your spend is across your source countries, and matches you against the federal and provincial relief programs whose published criteria you appear to meet. You can run it two ways: by industry sector, which uses broader sector-level rates and needs no classification, or by Harmonized System tariff chapter, which reads rates from the Canada Border Services Agency's published Customs Tariff for the chapter you select.
The paid product is a one-time purchase: access to our directory of Canadian and alternative suppliers relevant to your sector or tariff chapter, plus a written stability brief generated from your own assessment figures.
Suppliers are found in public business records and, where they respond to us, confirmed directly. Each listing carries a confidence grade that says exactly which of those two things happened. Suppliers can add themselves at no cost.

Plain-language summary of what we collect and why.
What we collect. Only what you type into an assessment form: your company name, your work email address, and the business figures you enter — annual source spend, source countries and their shares, sector or tariff chapter, province, employee count, and optionally annual revenue. Your assessment results are stored alongside them. We do not ask for and do not want personal information about individuals beyond the email address you give us as a contact point. No account or login is required to use the free assessment.
How we use it. To generate and show you your assessment, to produce your stability brief and unlock the supplier directory if you buy one, and to reply to you about your report. Your email address is used to identify your purchase and to contact you about it. It is not shared with the suppliers in the directory.
We do not sell your data. We do not sell, rent, or trade your information to third parties, and we do not use it for advertising. It is shared only with the service providers that make the product work, and only for that purpose: our hosting and database provider stores it; Stripe processes your payment; Anthropic's Claude API receives your assessment figures when you generate a brief, in order to write it; and our email provider delivers messages we send. We do not receive or store your card number — Stripe handles payment details directly and we only ever ask Stripe whether a payment succeeded.
How it is stored. The site is served over HTTPS, so your submission is encrypted in transit. Assessment records are held in our managed PostgreSQL database with access limited to the operator of this service. Administrative functions are behind a password.
Where it is processed. Your information may be processed and stored on servers located outside Canada, including in the United States, by the service providers described above. While it is held in another country it is subject to that country's laws, and may be accessible to its courts, law enforcement, and national security authorities under those laws. By using this service you consent to that transfer. If you would rather your information were not processed outside Canada, do not submit an assessment — write to us instead.
Your choices. Write to info@tradestability.com to ask what we hold about you, to correct it, or to ask us to delete your assessment records. A supplier who does not want to be listed can say so and will be removed.
Terms of Service
The assessment is free. Running an assessment costs nothing and requires no payment details.
One-time payment, not a subscription. The full brief is a single one-time charge of $149 CAD that buys access to the supplier directory for your assessment and one generated stability brief. There is no recurring charge. Nothing renews, nothing is billed monthly or annually, and there is no subscription to cancel. You will not be charged again unless you deliberately purchase another report.
Refunds. Because the product is delivered immediately and in full at the moment of payment, refunds are not available once your supplier directory has been unlocked or your brief has been generated. If a payment succeeded but you were not given access, that is a fault on our side — contact info@tradestability.com and we will fix it or refund you.
What you are buying. Analysis and reference data, not advice. You may use the brief and the directory inside your own business. You may not resell, republish, or redistribute the supplier directory or its contents.
Limitation of liability. All figures are estimates produced by automated tools from public data and from the numbers you supply, as set out in full in the Disclaimer below. That disclaimer forms part of these terms. By purchasing or using a report you agree that you are solely responsible for verifying customs, compliance, supplier, and program-eligibility details before acting, and that Flourixa Tech Inc. carries no liability for any losses, delays, denied applications, or regulatory penalties arising from your use of this platform.
Governing law. These terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Alberta and the laws of Canada applicable in it, and you agree to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Alberta for any dispute arising from them.
